Equinox Pods
These pods were produced for the Equinox Show at The Carriage House Gallery in Old Louisville, October 2011. Inspired primarily by Gretchen's paintings and color chakra series for the same show. The Edges of the pods are more tooled and prunted than other pod series, invoking harvested shells or husks. I started to roll the fresh "bit" in powders and frit in order to decorate and saturate the added glass with color and dynamic.

Knuckled Pod Bowl
The Pod legs are articulated and coated with a lagoon powder. The interior is an enamel white with lagoon streaks. very very intruiging. 14" w x 6"h
